Like the 350 and 500cc Royal Enfield motorcycles have served pretty much as canvas for motorcycle customisers to apply their creativity, the new 650 twins are no different. Bulleteer Customs, a custom bike builder that has come to be one of the most popular in India, had a go on the new Interceptor INT 650 and the end result is undoubtedly good-looker.

Called the 'Hooligan 650', this custom job is built on a flat-track style bike with vintage looking tyres and of course, if powered by the newly-developed parallel twin engine. The cosmetic changes made to the Interceptor have also added to its functionality.
-
For starters, it's been given much larger wheels held within chunky gold-finished front upside down forks and the front disc has been replaced with a new unit as well. The headlamp is new with all-LED lights but still carries a classic appeal.
-
The paint job is neat and simple with contrasting shades of black and white, and the shiny chrome on the engine block has been covered in black on one side. The scrambler-style curving exhaust pipes add extensively to the bike's appeal.
-
The new seat looks comfy and classic. Moving over to the tail of the Interceptor 650 Hooligan, it has been given a short rear fender and a tiny tail lamp, which is a machined piston from a Yamaha RD350. The Hooligan is undoubtedly a brilliant rendition of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. We often receive mails asking where can such modifications be done and for how much.
