The all-new 2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara made its global debut in India in July this year. Pre-bookings for the same are open and it has already bagged more than 53,000 reservations.

Maruti Suzuki will reveal the prices of this mid-size SUV later this month. The new Grand Vitara is expected to be priced from Rs 9.50 lakh to Rs 18 lakh, ex-showroom.

The new Grand Vitara will be offered in nine colours. The mono-tone shades are Chestnut Brown, Celestial Blue, Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey and Opulent Red while the dual-tone paint schemes include Arctic White with Black, Splendid Silver with Black and Opulent Red with Black.

Being Maruti’s flagship SUV, the Grand Vitara is loaded with features up to the gills. It gets a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay along with Suzuki’s connected car tech.

The Grand Vitara gets safety equipment like a 360-degree parking camera, six airbags, ESP, hill hold assist, hill descent control, TPMS, and many more.

Some other features of this mid-size SUV include a panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone charger, digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, etc.

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara shares its platform and powertrains with the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. It will be offered with two engine options in India.

It will get a new 1.5-litre petrol engine with strong hybrid tech, paired with an e-CVT. The other mill will be a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol motor that will come mated to a 5-speed MT and a 6-speed AT. Its manual variants will get optional AWD too.Â
