TVS Motor Company launched the new BS6 compliant Apache RTR 160 4V a few days ago. A couple of days back, we got a chance to ride this motorcycle at the company's Hosur racetrack to test its mettle. In terms of aesthetics, the biggest change comes at the front where the bike gets an all-LED headlamp section and the unit is divided in two parts – for the low and high beam. The company claims that the new LED headlamp offers the segment best penetration and spread.

The 2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V gets Smart Xonnect feature with the help of which you can connect your smartphone to the motorcycle via Bluetooth. The Smart Xonnect offers call and message alerts on the instrument cluster, navigation assistance and it also shows the ride duration and other relevant data. Moreover, it can also measure the lean angle and the G-force.

The tail end section on the new 2020 model remains unchanged. Also, the fuel tank, side panels and even the exhaust set up are the same as the previous BS4 model.

Engine on the 2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is now BS6 compliant. Due to this, while the power output remains the same, the torque has seen a drop by 1.3Nm. Gearbox is a five-speed unit and gets a slipper clutch as well.

The new 2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V gets new race inspired graphics that make the look better than before. There is a racing stripe that runs across the fuel tank and the bike looks stunning especially in black-red paint scheme.
