Auto Expo India 2018: Auto Expo India 2018 is finally here. The extravaganza of cars and bikes kicked off on Wednesday in Greater Noida with over 20 leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) showcasing more than a hundred products. The Auto Expo 2018 is the 14th edition of what has come to become the country's premier automotive event. In the much-touted event, over 50 new electric vehicles will showcased for the first time. The Auto Expo saw vehicle launches from big names like Honda, Renault and Suzuki. Honda unveiled its new Amaze and Civic. Hyundai too unveiled its revamped Elite i20 car. The big event is expected to see 8 lakh visitors over the 7-day period. Let's have a look at the most anticipated vehicles that were unveiled on the first day of the mega event.

Honda Amaze: Honda unveiled the new Amaze 2018 at the Auto Expo in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variants in this model are also getting the optional CVT gearbox. The Japanese car maker has given the new Amaze an unique Honda identity with a new front grille.

Honda CR-V: Honda also launched its revamped SUV CR-V in the Auto Expo 2018. Touted as one of the most awaited SUVs of 2018, Honda CR-V comes with a 1.6L diesel engine with a power of 160hp and 350 Nm of torque. For the first time, Honda CR-V will have a third row seating and also a diesel engine.

Honda Civic: Another big Honda unveil at the Auto Expo 2018 is the new Honda Civic. Honda has confirmed that it will launch the sporty Civic in less than a year. 2018 Honda Civic will get the 1.8L VTEC engine and a new diesel engine.

Honda Activa 5G: Honda Activa 5G is powered by a 109.19cc engine that makes 8 bhp and 9 Nm. It comes wit drum brakes on both ends. The starting price of Activa 5G is Rs 53,900 (ex-showroom). Some dealerships are offering Rs 3000 cashback on Paytm payments.

Hyundai Elite i20: Hyundai's latest addition is the Hyundai Elite i20 which features a new front grille. It also features new headlamp cluster with DRLs and projector headlamps along with a fresh and premium touch to the i20’s interiors.

Renault Trezor Electric supercar: Renault's latest supercar is the Trezor that is 4700mm long, 1080mm high and 2180mm wide. What adds to the identity of the car is the Gran Tourer theme that continues with the coupe style two-seater cabin and coupe-esque roofline.

Suzuki GSX-S750: Suzuki GSX-S750 is powered by a 750cc engine. The new Suzuki GSX-S750 is expected to be launched in India in the coming weeks and the manufacturer entered into the 750cc streetfighter segment with the launch of this super bike. -
Suzuki Intruder 150 Fi: Another offering from Suzuki is the new Suzuki Intruder 150 Fi . It gets its power from 155cc mill but the fuel injection is expected to deliver better throttle response and a more seamless power delivery.

Piaggio Vespa: Piaggio has forged into the Auto Expo 2018 with the new Vespa Electtrica, Aprilia SR125 and Aprilia Storm. Electtrica is Vespa’s first electric scooter.

Hero Duet 125: Hero has unveiled the new Duet 125 with the i3s technology for fuel saving. There isn't major changes in the bike but it gets a chrome finish section up front.
