Executive Sedans like Honda's City, Hyundai's Verna Maruti Suzuki's Ciaz and Skoda's Rapid have been volume drivers for their respective brands. While three of the four cars have received an update Maruti still carries forward the original trim. Although it is the only one of the four with a soft-hybrid system. So which one is the best for you?

In terms of tail-lamps the 2013 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz begins to show signs of ageing, while the remaining have LED tail-lamps the Ciaz relies on conventional units.
-
In terms of headlamps, the four are evenly matched, all of them come with Projector headlamps, but the LED units on the 2017 Verna, Rapid and City do outclass the Ciaz's conventional projectors on this score as well.

In terms of alloys wheels, we would have to hand it to the Ciaz who's multi-spoke alloys far outclass the competition. However, the Honda City's diamond cut alloys do also look really good as compared to the alloys on the previous generation. The Rapid and Verna's standard 5-spoke broad alloys do take away from both cars overall appeal a little though.

In terms of interiors, the 2017 Verna and Honda's new city come very close. Being the only two with the optional sunroof on the top trim. All of them have touch screen infotainment systems and cooled glove boxes. However the Verna does win here in terms of aesthetic and the fact that it comes with heated and cooled seats.

Driving dynamics is Skoda country in this comparo, the Rapid being the most dynamic car of the lot. However, it is worthy to mention that the upgraded platform on the Verna has improved the drive on Hyundai executive sedan greatly. The Ciaz and Honda are not particularly bad in any way but do pale a little in comparison to the other two.
