EV startup Ather has achieved significant milestone in India, selling over 2 lakh units since its launch. In January this year, the company achieved 1 lakh sales and has managed to garner another one lakh customers in just under a year.
The company’s current offerings include the 450S and the 450X, while Ather will be launching the sportier Ather 450 Apex in January 2024. Bookings are currently open and deliveries are set to begin in March 2024.
Details of the 450 Apex are still under wraps, however, a few details are known. The Scooter will have a top speed of 100kmph, while also getting a Wrap+ mode for quicker acceleration. Also, the scooter could have transparent body panels.
Apart from the 450 Apex, Ather is also looking to launch a family-oriented scooter. Details are not in the open again, but the scooter has been spied testing and the launch is expected sometime in 2024.
