Skoda launched the Kylaq late last year and was welcomed with positive responses from all quarters. With prices starting at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the Kylaq offers great value for money in terms of performance, comfort and features. Design and build quality of Skoda is undisputed which also gives brownie points to the sub-4 metre SUV.
Introductory prices of the Skoda Kylaq came to an end on April 30. The Czech carmaker has now updated the prices of Kylaq and surprisingly some variants have become more affordable by up to Rs 46,000. This is a rare occurrence since post introductory prices of a new model,carmakers in India often hike the prices across all the variants.
That said, some variants of Kylaq have witnessed a price jump by up to Rs 36,000. After the latest price update, prices for Skoda Kylaq starts from Rs 8.25 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.99 lakh (both ex-showroom). Prices for the lower-spec Classic, Signature, and Signature AT variants have been increased by Rs 36,000, Rs 26,000 and Rs 36,000.

The mid-spec and top-spec trims offer better value for money with prices reduced. The Signature+ MT and AT variants are now more affordable, with price reductions of Rs 15,000 and Rs 5,000, respectively. Additionally, the top-end Prestige trim sees a price cut of Rs 46,000 for one variant and Rs 41,000 for the other. Please note that select colour options are available as optional extras for Rs 9,000 on the first three trims, and this cost is not included in the prices mentioned below.

Skoda Kylaq: Powertrain Specs
The Kylaq comes equipped with a single engine option — a 1.0-litre TSI delivering 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic torque converter. As per Skoda, the Kylaq accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 10.5 seconds with the manual transmission and reaches a top speed of 188 kmph.
