Hyundai has finally launched one of the most eagerly awaited all-electric SUVs, the Creta Electric. Since its debut in 2015, the Creta has achieved phenomenal success, consistently ranking among the top five best-selling vehicles in India and maintaining its leadership in the mid-size SUV segment. With the introduction of the Creta Electric, Hyundai has taken everyone by surprise, offering an aggressive pricing strategy. The new EV starts at an attractive Rs 17.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 23.50 lakh for the higher variants (introductory prices).
In this segment, Creta Electric will compete against other electric SUVs, including the Mahindra BE 6, Tata Curvv EV, and MG ZS EV. Here’s a comparison of how Creta Electric stacks up against these rivals.

Hyundai Creta EV vs Mahindra BE 6
The Creta Electric is offered in two battery pack options — a 42 kWh and a larger 51.4 kWh unit. The entry-level 42 kWh version delivers 132 bhp and offers a range of 390 km. Charging it with the 11 kW fast charger takes about 4 hours to go from 10 per cent to 100 per cent. The more powerful 51.4 kWh battery produces 169 bhp and 255 Nm of torque, with an impressive range of 473 km. With the 11 kW charger, this version takes approximately 4 hours and 50 minutes to charge from 10 per cent to 100 per cent. For faster charging, both battery variants can achieve 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 58 minutes using a 50 kW DC fast charger, and 39 minutes with a 100 kW DC charger.

On the other hand, the Mahindra BE 6e comes with two larger battery options — 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The 59 kWh battery produces 225 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, offering an ARAI-certified range of 556 km. It is the only rear-wheel-drive electric SUV in its segment. Using an 11.2 kW AC charger, the 59 kWh variant charges from 0 per cent to 100 per cent in 6 hours. The top-end 79 kWh variant delivers 277 bhp while maintaining the same 380 Nm of torque, with an ARAI-certified range of 682 km. Mahindra claims that with a 175 kW DC fast charger, the batteries can charge from 20 per cent to 80 per cent in just 20 minutes.
Hyundai Creta EV vs Tata Currv EV
The Tata Curvv EV is available with two battery pack options — 45 kWh and 55 kWh. The 45 kWh variant offers a range of 425 km, while the larger 55 kWh pack provides a range of 585 km on a single charge. Both versions produce 165 bhp and 215 Nm of torque.

For the 45 kWh battery, charging from 10 per cent to 100 per cent with a 7.2 kW AC charger takes around 6.5 hours. A 60 kW DC fast charger can charge the battery from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 40 minutes.
The 55 kWh battery claims a range of 502 km. Using the 7.2 kW AC charger, it takes about 7.9 hours to charge from 10 per cent to 100 per cent. With a 70 kW DC fast charger, the 55 kWh battery charges 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 40 minutes. Additionally, the DC fast charger offers a range boost of approximately 150 km in just 15 minutes.
Hyundai Creta EV vs MG ZS EV
The MG ZS EV, a pioneer in the electric SUV segment, is powered by a 50.3 kWh battery. It delivers 174 bhp and 280 Nm of torque, with an ARAI-claimed range of 461 km on a single charge.
