JSW MG Motor has confirmed the launch of its third electric vehicle in its lineup, the Windsor EV. The crossover utility vehicle (CUV) will be slotted in between the Comet EV and the ZS EV. In the global market, this CUV EV is sold as Wuling Cloud. Here’s all you need to know.
MG Windsor EV: Battery and Range
Like the ZS EV, the Windsor is expected to be powered by a 50.3 kWh battery and should offer a range in the region of 460 km. It has a single motor mounted on the front axle and has an output of 134 bhp and 200 Nm. There are reports that the entry-level trim of the Windsor EV could get a 37.9 kWh battery with a range of around 350 km.

MG Windsor EV: DimensionsÂ
The Windsor is slightly shorter than the ZS EV as it is just short of 4.3 metres in length. The CUV is wider and taller with a width of 1850 mm and 1652 mm. What is interesting to note is that the Windsor EV is based on the longer 2700 mm wheelbase as compared to the ZS EV’s 2585 mm.
MG Windsor EV: FeaturesÂ
The crossover, like any other MG Motor, is packed with features like automatic LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, flush door handles, an electric tailgate, a 360-degree camera and all four disc brakes. The cabin gets a 15.6-inch infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat and 4-way adjustable powered front passenger seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel and the rear bench has a sofa feature that can recline to 135-degrees.

MG Windsor EV: SafetyÂ
 The Windsor EV has four airbags, ABS & EBD, electronic stability control, an electric parking brake with auto hold, hill hold control and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The CUV will also be equipped with an ADAS suite.
