The facelifted Mahindra XUV300 has been in the works for quite some time now. Test mules of the subcompact SUV have been frequently spotted on Indian roads over the past few months. Another set of spy images have emerged on the internet which indicate several changes for the upcoming XUV300.
Mahindra XUV300 facelift: Exterior changes
The latest set of spy shots, credited to Bunny Punia, show a completely camouflaged test unit of the facelifted XUV300. Despite being fully wrapped, some visual changes are clearly evident. For starters, it gets a completely redesigned front fascia featuring new headlamps and round fog lamps. The headlamp cluster also received revised C-shaped LED DRLs inspired by the larger XUV700.

The nose is now sealed off with an integrated grille and radiator setup below. As a result, the bumper has been completely redesigned. The sub-4 metre SUV retains a similar boxy profile of the older model with clean and minimal aesthetics. That said, alloy wheels appear to have a different design.
Another set of spy images, credited to Team BHP, highlight the SUV’s rear profile which is also heavily reworked. The tailgate has been reshaped while the wraparound taillights have given way to sleeker vertically-oriented LED units. More importantly, the registration plate is now housed on the rear bumper instead of the tailgate as seen in the older model. As a result, the rear bumper is reprofiled featuring new chrome inserts.

Mahindra XUV300 facelift: Interior, powertrain updates
Interiors of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift are also expected to witness a revision. The most notable of those is a larger, free-standing touchscreen infotainment system. Another possible change could be in the form of a digital instrument cluster.
Mahindra is expected to carry forward the same engine options: A 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that makes 109 bhp and 200 Nm of torque; the 1.2-litre turbocharged mStallion petrol engine that makes 128 bhp and 230 Nm of torque; and the 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes 115 bhp and 300 Nm of torque.

Another significant change could be a new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox in place of the 6-speed AMT. A 6-speed manual gearbox will be a standard offering for all engine options.
