Lexus has officially commenced the deliveries of India’s expensive MPV, the Lexus LM 350h. The customers have been patiently waiting for their vehicles as the bookings for the LM 350h opened in August last year. Earlier in March, Lexus launched the MPV starting from Rs 2 crore, ex-showroom.
Lexus LM 350h: What is it?
Lexus has introduced ultra-luxury traits to the MPV segment with the LM 350. Based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) like the Toyota Vellfire, it is available in two variants. The entry-level, if one can call it that in this premium class, is the LM 350h VIP, which is a seven-seater vehicle. The more expensive Ultra Luxury is a four-seater MPV, which has interiors like a first-class airline cabin.
There is a partition, which is a 48-inch ultrawide screen, between the front two seats and the rest of the cabin which includes two lounge Ottoman chairs. This version is a chauffeur-driven vehicle while the seven-seater is for the family. The LM 350h is equipped with a 23-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, a multi-operational armrest with remote controllers. In front, the dashboard houses a 14-inch HD touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and a 10-inch head-up display.
Lexus LM 350h: Specs and Price
The LM 350h is powered by a 2.5-litre petrol hybrid engine with a combined output of 190 bhp and 240 Nm. The drivetrain of the lavish MPV is all-wheel-drive. The LM 350h VIP is priced at Rs 2 crore and the Ultra Luxury at Rs 2.5 crore, ex-showroom.
