Kia introduced the Carens Clavis in May this year, with prices starting at Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The Korean carmaker is now gearing up to launch the all-electric version of the same in the market soon.

Test mules of the Kia Carens Clavis EV have been spotted on multiple occasions in recent months. It was reported last week that Kia will unveil the Carens Clavis EV on July 15. Test mules of the electric Clavis have been spotted on several occasions over the past few months.

Ahead of its launch, Kia has shared a teaser of battery-powered MPV on its social media handles and YouTube channel. The short 25-second teaser reveals the Kia Carens Clavis EV in its full glory — both outside and inside. As expected the design of the Clavis EV is identical to its combustion engine-powered sibling, the only notable difference is the sealed-off nose up front which houses the charging flap.
