BYD officially launched the Sealion 7 starting from Rs 48.90 lakh. It is available in two trims — Premium and Performance. The Sealion was earlier showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and the company has already received over 1000 bookings within a month.
BYD Sealion 7: Specs and Price
The Sealion 7 comes in two trims — Premium and Performance. Both are powered by an 82.56 kWh battery, but the Premium has a single motor set up based on the rear axle and makes 309 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. According to BYD, it does 0 – 100 kmph in 6.7 seconds and returns a claimed range of 567 km. The dual motor packed Performance all-wheel-drive trim does 0 – 100 kmph in 4.5 seconds and has a range of 542 km. It churns out 523 bhp and 690 Nm of torque.

BYD Sealion 7: Features
Like any BYD EV, the Sealion 7 is packed with features including the signature rotating 15.6-inch infotainment display, Nappa leather seats, 128-colour ambient lighting options, a panoramic glass roof with electric sunshade, a heads-up display, 6 way powered front passenger seat and driver’s seat gets 4-way lumbar function.
The Sealion 7 is equipped with 12 Dynaudio speakers, personalised comfort with ventilated and heated seats, a 50 W wireless phone charger and a Vehicle to Load function. The vehicle gets 11 airbags as standard, Driver Fatigue Monitoring, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto hold function and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
