Audi has confirmed on its social media handles that the final production version of the Q6 e-Tron will break cover on 18 March 2024. Essentially, an all-electric equivalent of the Q5, the Q6 e-Tron will expand Audi’s BEV portfolio to eight models. It sits on the new PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture that also underpins Porsche Macan EV.
Audi Q6 e-Tron: Exterior & Interior
Audi had previously showcased pre-production concepts of the Q6 e-Tron in 2021. The exterior of the battery-powered SUV resonates with the other e-Tron models in the Audi lineup. Some of the prominent visual highlights include the sealed-off Bulgarian Beard’ grille flanked by sleek light clusters.

At the rear, it gets a familiar connected LED light bar across the tailgate, with customisable graphics and a faux diffuser element on the bumper. The gently tapering roofline gives the SUV a sporty stance. The side profile is expected to receive the same clean lines and generic proportions as seen on Audi’s current line of SUVs.
Inside the cabin, the Q6 e-Tron boasts of a new dashboard design featuring a curved, panoramic 14.5-inch infotainment display and a 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster. Besides, there is a separate 10.9-inch infotainment screen for the front passenger’s entertainment. We expect Audi to employ plenty of eco-friendly materials with some soft touch surfaces inside the cabin.

Audi Q6 e-Tron: Powertrain
Although Audi is yet to confirm the powertrain details of the Q6 e-Tron, the 800V PPE architecture has a maximum range of 600 km along with a rapid charging rate of up to 270 kW. Besides the Q6 e-Tron, Audi will also bring out a coupe-style Q6 e-Tron Sportback. The German marque has hinted that the latter could benefit from a dual-motor, all-wheel drive powertrain with a combined output of 464 hp and 800 Nm of peak torque.
