Land Rover has launched the 2018 Range Rover Evoque Landmark Edition in India and has priced it at a cool Rs 50.20 lakh. The Landmark Edition, as Land Rover calls it, was created to commemorate 6 years of the Evoque which was launched in 2011, making it to India in November of the same year. Now, 6-years is a long time for one model to succeed without an update, even in the luxurious world of Range Rover. Which is why this Landmark edition has been given a wide array of kit to set it apart from the standard Evoque.
These updates include a more dynamic body style kit, coloured door cladding, a graphite Atlas grille, Changes to the Bonnet, Fender and tailgate lettering which gets the blackout treatment. The all-black theme continues on the 18-inch wheels which get the black-gloss finish. The Evoque Landmark addition will also get a Carpathian grey contrast on the roof colour and a choice of three exclusive colours including the Moraine Blue in the image. The cabin too gets the exclusive touches with dark satin theming the upholstery, accented by a brushed aluminium centre console, the seats get black-finished grained leather with light stitching contrasting. The Landmark Edition also sees features like keyless entry and a powered gesture tailgate.
Under the hood, the Evoque Landmark Edition is a 2-litre Ingenium diesel motor which makes 177 bhp and develops 430 Nm of peak torque. The Evoque can go from a standstill to 100 kmph in just 9 seconds while top speed is rated at 195 kmph.
