Triumph has launched the new Speed T4 in India, priced at Rs 2.17 lakh, ex-showroom. The new Triumph Speed T4 is now the entry-level motorcycle from the British bike maker, which gets a few trimmed-down parts, including its performance to cater to a wider audience base.
2024 Triumph Speed T4 — What is it?
The new Triumph Speed T4 is based on the same platform as the Speed 400. The Speed T4 gets traditional telescopic forks instead of USD forks the Speed 400 gets. That said, the new Triumph Speed T4 is available in three colour options: Pearl Metallic White, Cocktail Wine Red and Phantom Black.Â
The Triumph Speed T4 also gets a detuned engine. The motorcycle uses the same 399cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, but makes less power. The Speed T4 makes 30bhp and 36Nm of torque with the help of a six-speed gearbox. As per Triumph, the engine offers more torque at lower revs, making it easy to ride in city conditions.
The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels, a semi-digital instrument cluster, USB charging port, manual throttle body control, a slipper clutch, and disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
