New Suzuki Hayate EP will be launched by the end of this fiscal after its public debut at Auto Expo 2016 Suzuki Motorcycle India, on Wednesday, announced the introduction of new Hayate EP with new technologies. Expected to be launched by March 2016, the Suzuki Hayate EP will make its public debut at the Auto Expo 2016. The engine of the Suzuki Hayate EP is the same 112.8cc, single-cylinder unit that does duty on the current model as well. But it now features Suzuki’s edgeSEP technology that uses Suzuki Super Sleek Piston, high-ignition spark plug and low friction cylinder & piston rings. This technology helps improve combustion & compression ratio and reduce friction & weight. As a result, the Suzuki Hayate EP will offer improved pickup and mileage. In a bid to improve comfort for riders, the Suzuki Hayate EP features a longer seat. The bike also has a brand new diamond frame and the longest wheelbase in its category. The commuter has also gone through some cosmetic changes as it gets edgy lines on the tank and tail, differently designed mirrors and new graphics. The Hayatep EP will be made available in a total of 3 colours – Metallic Oort Grey, Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Mira Red. We are confident that the new Hayate EP will be very well received in the market.” The new Suzuki Hayate EP also comes with maintenance-free battery, 5-step adjustable rear shock absorber and tubeless tyres.
