In a bid to increase its share in the Indian two-wheeler market, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India will expand its network by 400-500 in 2016-17. Currently, the company has a network of 4250 dealers, branches, sub-branches and authorised service centres.
Speaking to reporters at the Auto Expo Motor Show on Thursday, YS Guleria, senior vice president, Sales and
Marketing at Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India said,
“We are currently running at full capacity of 4.6 million units and our capacity will
go up to 5.8 million units after our Gujarat plant reaches full capacity by end of next year.
We will expand our
network by 400-500 next year accordingly.”
