Indian Scout
Scout is a lightweight cruiser in the Indian Motorcycle line-up and is often considered the company’s sports model. It’s a thoroughly modern motorcycle equipped with an 1131cc v-twin engine which is liquid cooled and housed inside an aluminium frame. It features a 6-speed transmission and a single disc at each end. Scout is a legendary motorcycle originally renowned for setting a number of land-speed records on Bonneville Salt Flats between 1962 and 1967 ridden by Burt Munro from New Zealand. Continuing the legacy, Indian Motorcycle created the latest model which has a striking resemblance to the original Scout with fleet-sided fenders front and back.

Indian Scout Braking and Safety
Irrespective of the kind of a motorcycle a company makes, braking is one area where no compromises are made. The Scout sports a competitive braking package with a single 298mm disc at both wheels to bring down the motorcycle to a safe stop. ABS is also on offer which further increases the safety aspect. And then there’s a pair of tubeless tyres which ensures that they do not deflate in the case of a puncture.

Scout has a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 litres which is a decent number. Ridden calmly, the Scout shall deliver competitive fuel efficiency in its segment.
