‘Bidding adieu to beautiful game…’: Piyush Chawla announces retirement from cricket
Piyush Chawla, a 32-year-old leg spinner, has retired from all forms of professional cricket. He was part of two World Cup-winning teams and took over 1,000 wickets in his career. Chawla also had a successful IPL career, playing for four different franchises and securing 192 wickets in 192 matches. He recently made his final appearance for India in the 2011 ODI World Cup.
