If you are a fan of truck racing then here it is for you, Tata Motors is organizing the season 4 of T1 Prima truck racing at the Buddh International Circut, Greater Noida on 19th March. From India, 9 drivers from UP, 1 driver from Delhi and 2 drivers from Haryana have been shortlisted to participate in the race. Truck racers from other countries are from Germany, Spain, Hungary, Czech Republic and France. For the first time there will also be a lady truck driver participating in championship, Stephanie Halm.

Another new addition in season 4 to be showcased is the Tata’s T1 Prima Truck that produces 1,040hp of power and it can accelerate from 0-160 km/hour in under 10 seconds. The truck is powered by a 12 litre ISGe Cummins engine that has been placed at centre of the chassis and the engine delivers 1,040 hp of power and 3,500 Nm of torque. Transmission duties on the truck are handled by a new ZF 16-speed gearbox
Inside the cabin, the truck is fitted with a roll cage, detachable steering wheel and it has a 20 degree castor angle for better stability and cornering. The truck gets features such as touch screen and rear view camera.
In 2017 Tata T1 Prima truck racing will be held in three stages –Super Class, Champion class and Pro Class. This season there will be racers from FIA’s European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC), who will be participating in event for the first time. The drivers from ETRC will compete in the Pro Class category along with a drivers from British Truck Racing Association (BTRA)
