Loud engine notes and deafening gun shots, the ever successful franschise Fast and Furious is back with its eighth edition, which will release on 14th April. Besides Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), Dom (Vin Diesel) will now also be accompanied by the leading ladies of Hollywood, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron. But what we're interested in, at least for now, is the cars. First up, featured here is what Letty is driving on frozen grounds of Iceland. Perhaps the coolest one of the lot in a very Hollywood kind of way. Meet the Rally Fighter, which is the brainchild of a company called Local Motors. The brand takes pride in building powerful custom cars as per the requirement of the customer down to th very last bolt.

Vin Diesel's Dodge Charger or 'Ice Charger' will apparently be powered by a jet engine. How cool does that sound? But of course it really will be have a conventional V8 under the bonnet, and a fake turbine engine in the car's boot.

Roman Pearce's (Tyrese Gibson) Lamborghini Murcielago does not realy need an introduction. Lamborghini's all-wheel-drive must have actually helped driving on ice. It is powered by 6.2 litre V12.

Tej, played by Ludacris, will be in a distinct 'car'. Not a car really, it is a tank, and a custom built tank that is, which is correctly called 'Ripsaw'.

And the strongman of the film Luke Hobbs, played by Dwayne Jhonson, gets to slide about in a massive 'Ice Ram'. Lord knows what the contraption at the back does.
