Hyundai Creta achieves 1 lakh units in six months

Hyundai India announced that it gained 1 lakh happy customers for its best-selling SUV, Creta, in the last six months, since its launch in January 2024. Talking about the designs, the company states that it presents a bold design catering to the new-age, tech-savvy customers who embrace the spirit of exploring. 

The new Hyundai CRETA, with its robust road presence and features such as an advanced Level 2 ADAS safety suite, powerful 1.5-litre Turbo GDI engine and a gamut of convenience and active & passive safety features, has redefined the SUV landscape in India once again. With features like a panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, ventilated seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 360-degree camera, the new Hyundai CRETA 2024 is packed with innovative technology in order to provide a superior driving experience. 

Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai Motor India, expressed this achievement by affirming that Hyundai hopes to make more sales of Creta in the coming years. 

Hyundai Creta: Powertrain options

The Creta is available in three engine options — the 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel. The NA powertrain has an output of 113 bhp and 143.8 Nm. It is available in either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. The turbo petrol churns out 158 bhp and 253 Nm and is only available with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The diesel, on the other hand, produces 114 bhp and 250 Nm and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
