HDFC, Quant and SBI SIP schemes that beat their Mid Cap plans in 3 yrs

While Mid Cap Funds have been in the news for giving great returns in last three years, some schemes of other categories have outperformed them in this duration.

For example, here’s a look at three schemes offered by SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund and Quant Mutual Fund that have outperformed the mid cap offerings of these AMCs in 3 years.

HDFC Infrastrucure Fund: The direct plan of this scheme has given 40.30% annualised returns in 3 years, compared to 34.46% returns of HDFC Mid-Cap Opportunities Fund.

SBI Contra Fund: With 38.95% annualised returns under direct plan in 3 years, this scheme has outperformed SBI Mid Cap and Small Cap Funds in this duration.

Quant Infrastructure Fund: The direct plan of this scheme has given 46.24% annualised returns in 3 years, compared to 41.20% returns of Quant Mid Cap Fund.
