India is at a pivotal moment in its sustainability journey. According to the latest EnviStats India 2025 report by The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, renewable energy generation has surged significantly, reflecting the country’s accelerated transition to cleaner power sources. The 2025 Union Budget further underscores this commitment with major investments in solar, wind, green hydrogen, and electric mobility, aiming for 30% EV penetration by 2030 and expanded green finance initiatives. Yet, India faces mounting climate and health challenges, with the State of India’s Environment in Figures 2025 report highlighting worsening pollution, extreme weather events, and uneven progress across states.
The 2025 edition of the FE Green Sarathi Summit will spotlight actionable strategies, real-world innovations, and cross-sector collaboration needed to steer businesses toward net-zero pathways.
