Overview

Digital Bharat Economy Conclave as the name suggests, has been created as forum with an aim to talk India’s digital transformation and economic progress. Over the past decade, India has witnessed many technological changes. The widespread adoption of smartphones and Internet connectivity has propelled digital inclusion, enabling millions of people to access online services. Initiatives like Digital India and Aadhaar have further facilitated the digitalisation of public services and financial inclusion.

In recent years, the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) has been an area of discussion not only in India, but across the globe. It is believed that AI-powered solutions will change various sectors from healthcare and agriculture to finance and education. For instance, AI-driven predictive analytics in agriculture can help farmers to optimise crop yields, while in healthcare, AI algorithms can up the chances of diagnostic accuracy and personalised treatment plans. The financial sector is leveraging AI for fraud detection, credit scoring, and customer service automation. Yet, it has its own set of limitations with discussions around ethical AI, thereby a need to create a regulation.

The Digital Bharat Economy Conclave highlights the ongoing advancements and future potential of AI in driving economic growth. Discussions at the conclave focus on creating an enabling ecosystem for AI innovation, addressing ethical considerations, and ensuring equitable access to AI technologies. As India continues its journey towards a digital economy, the second edition of the conclave serves as a catalyst for collaboration, innovation, and policy making to harness the full potential of technological advancements.
