We do not want China in Balochistan, says activist as movement reaches London, Germany

Baloch activists have now been raising slogans from the corridors of Germany and London as well. Till now, the protests were happening outside Pakistani embassies in Gilgit,PoK and other Pakistani regiions only, which now has got extended to Chinese embassies as well.

The revolution by Balochi residents for the sake of atrocities of Pakistani Army in Balochistan is gaining new momentum everyday. While the struggle for the Balochis has on for quite some time, it was only after PM Narendra Modi’s Independence Day speech that the World started noticing it.

Balochistan activists have regularly been protesting against the injustice met out to people in the turbulence hit region. Off late, protests gained more voice inside as well as outside Pakistan.

The demand for ‘Sindhustan’ was one aim and now it seems, China’s intervention in the region is not also being taken positively by the activists.

These activists who are against the China Pakistan economic corridor have called the demonstrations as the need of the hour. The corridor they say, will affect the population of Balochistan. They also said that the agenda of the CPEC is to convert the indigenous people of Baloch into minority. ‘We do not want China in Balochistan’, one of the activist said.

Protesters chanted slogans “down with Pak, long live Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti” and against the Chinese intervention in Baloch soil.

However, the Baloch activists have passed a resolution totally condemning the speech by Indian PM Narendra Modi. Modi, in his I-Day speech had talked about the human rights violation that has been gaining power in Balochistan.
