In case you love beer then gulping down a couple of bottles should not be a big deal for you. But what about carrying more than a couple of beer mugs for quite a distance at once without dropping a single one of them. It may be a tough task for you, but certainly not for all.
Recently, a man named Oliver Struempfel created a record by carrying as many as 31 beer-filled tankards stacked up in two tiers at one go in South East Germany . This record was created in Bavari, the home to Oktoberfest, the world’s biggest beer festival. As per report, he had carried these mugs to about 40 metres before setting them down.
As per the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) report, Struempfel had carried 27 beer mugs initially, surpassing his earlier record of 25 mugs. However, he decided to go for another attempt, carrying four more. But this time, two bottles fell down, which could not be counted.
“I first did 27, because I wanted to be sure and then at the end I said, ‘Let’s add another one and get over 30,” Struempfel was quoted as saying by Reuters. “Unfortunately it didn’t quite work but have managed to put 29 down … I think it’s amazing, ” he added.
In order to prepare for the attempt, Struempfel said he had trained at the gym three to four times a week since last February. “When I think about it, it’s 200 hours for about 40 seconds of walking,” he was quoted as saying by Reuters.
