Under duress from the police on ‘undue interrogation’, a gang-rape victim attempted suicide on Saturday.
The Punjab Government of Pakistan has authorised a woman magistrate to record the statement of the girl so that she does not feel uncomfortable, reports the Dawn.
The 15-year-old was reportedly reluctant to record her statement before a male magistrate.
The police is yet to receive DNA reports of all the suspects and the girl which was dispatched by the Punjab Forensic Science Agency on Friday.
