Harry Potter movies might have created magic in the minds of many Hogwarts fans, but unfortunately it also led to the death of John D. Brown of Canton, Ohio after his Tesla model S failed to automatically activate and crashed into a tractor-trailer in Florida, according to the Associated Press.

A portable DVD player was found inside the car after the crash. The driver of the tractor-trailer, Frank Baressi told AP that the Tesla driver was watching the popular film series, ‘Harry Potter’ in his car when the crash happened. However, Baressi acknowledged that he did not see the movie and had only listened to it.

He told AP, “He went so fast through my trailer I didn’t see him.”

Brown was driving the Tesla car on auto-pilot mode when the crash happened. The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that it found a DVD player from the car but its usage during the crash is yet not confirmed.
