With more than 10,000 followers on Instagram, Jiah posted the photo on the social media network with the caption “hot-tea”.
With several women crushing over the ‘hot chaiwala’, the photo got over 5,000 likes on Instagram making a simple tea seller one of the most happing topic on social media. The photo was shared with headlines like, “there’s a really hot chaiwala in Pakistan” and “Move over Fawad Khan”. Even #chaiwala was also a viral trend in Pakistan after the post.
The picture of the chaiwala, overnight became the top trend in Pakistan and twitterati retweeted the photo with amusing captions relating to the tension between Indiaand Pakistan following the Uri attacks and the Surgical Strikes. Viewing the unexpectedly massive response on the picture of the ‘chaiwala’, the photographer later shared two more photos on the social media platform.
With the massive craze on the ‘chaiwala’ across South Asia and beyond, a Facebook page has even photoshopped his face as Ranveer Singh in Ram Leela, Slaman khan’s chiseled body and in place of many other bollywood faces.
