US Presidents are known for the bonhomie they share. At the time of US elections last year, we all had seen Obama calling Clinton by his initials, ‘Bill’, during a meet. Then came a video from Obama and his deputy, Joe Bidden, when they shared some of there after retirement plans. Now, another news is out about former US presidents. Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, have recently kicked off the Presidents Cup golf tournament in New Jersey. Well, one may say that it must be a regular excercise given its name ‘President Cup golf’ – we must tell you that it was the first time that three former presidents attended the biennial tournament, CNN reports.
The special excercise is aimed to raise funds needed for relief work being done after devastation created by Hurricane Harvey. The Presidents Cup, which runs through Sunday, will see the participation of five former US presidents. While Obama, Bush and Clinton participated in the opening ceremony, former Presidents Jimmy Carter, George HW Bush, will also participate in the tournament later on. Earlier, all five appeared in a video Sept. 8 to ask Americans to respond to the devastation wrought by Hurricane Harvey.
