London blast: An explosion in a train at the busy Parsons Green station in London left 22 passengers injured on Friday. As per reports, some were badly burnt due to the fireball that flew down the carriage in the terror attack. Witnesses described seeing a “wall of fire” as the bomb — hidden in a plastic bucket inside a supermarket freezer bag went off at the rush hour. British police are now on a massive manhunt to track down the suspect. This is the fourth terrorist attack on the city of London. Meanwhile, following the attack, But even as the tragedy played out, a man has emerged as a hero who displayed London spirit with his big gesture. A flood of messages on Twitter hailed his act while at the same time condemned the heinous act. The Netizens who urged everyone to stand united against terrorism also took to social media to thank strangers who came forward during the emergency to help each other. Amongst all the helpers, this particular man gathered all the buzz on the micro-blogging site as he started distributing free pizzas and water bottles to people affected by the blast as well as the emergency services personnel. This selfless man from a local Italian pizza parlour called Pagliaccio handed out free food to all. He was later identified as Teodoro by some users.

Soon his images and videos started doing the rounds on Twitter and people couldn’t stop praising him for his kind gesture. But he was not alone, there were more unsung heroes. While one user thanked an unknown stranger who saved him from the stampede, others outside the underground station served tea to help panicked commuters.

Meanwhile, the Scotland Yard’s counter-terrorism command, SO15, has taken the lead in the investigation, supported by MI5. A massive search is underway for whoever planted the homemade device. Detectives are examining CCTV from the London Underground network to determine where the perpetrator entered and exited the tube system. Meanwhile, Donald Trump blamed the explosion on “loser terrorists” and called for a “proactive” response by security services.
