Pakistan Defence Minister Khwaja Asif has stated that Hafiz Saeed could even be a threat to the country (apart from being a threat to India). Asif said this at the Munich Counter Terror Meet (MCTM). Saeed, who was the Mumbai terror attacks mastermind is currently being held in detention in the form of ‘house arrest’. According to the Ashraf, Hafiz Saeed is on the Pakistan’s anti-terror list.
Pakistan has been under tremendous global pressure to eliminate terrorism on its soil and the pressure has increased ever since Donald Trump took over as the President of United States. However, Ashraf said that Trump has been spreading Islamophobia.

Masood kept mum on the activities of Jamaat-ud-Dawa from their terror activities and said his brother’s was a humanitarian organization that runs schools and hospitals across Pakistan. He said, “We have nothing to do with Laskhar that is a Kashmiri unit. It is indigenous and it is working there.”
