In a dramatic turn of events on Thursday late night, Pakistan Air Force’s F-16 fighter jets were seen flying over Islamabad. Apprehensions over the possible surgical attack by Indian Army following the deadly terror attack in Uri in Jammu and Kashmir have reached an all time high in Pakistan. Indications are there that this might be a normal drill. But in the current situation, this event can be seen as a message to India. A Pakistani journalist tweeted about the presence of fighter jets in Islamabad sky. According to reports, people came out on the streets and around 5-6 jets were witnessed in the sky. Peshawar-Islamabad highway is also closed, an India Today report said.

Some pictures were uploaded on Twitter where F-16 fighter jets were seen landing on Islamabad’s motorway, Mir told ABP Live.
