US President Donald Trump today said the “unmasking and surveillance” of people during the term of his predecessor Barack Obama is the “big story”. “The big story is the unmasking and surveillance of people that took place during the Obama administration,” Trump said in a tweet to his more than 31 million followers on this popular micro blogging site which he uses quite often to communicate directly with his supporters.

His tweet came a day after the House Intelligence Committee subpoenaed seven individuals in relation to its investigation into the alleged Russian interferences in the run up to the 2016 presidential elections. Former FBI Director James Comey is all set to testify before a Congressional committee next week.

As per media reports, Comey will testify that Trump tried to influence him over the FBI investigations into Michael Flynn, his former National Security Adviser. Trump has accused Obama of ordering wiretaps at his Trump Tower in New York, but has not delivered any evidence.
