Budget airline Jetstar Pacific said it will buy 10 A320 planes from Airbus Group for $1 billion as it expands its domestic and international network.
Airbus also signed deals to sell 20 A321s to VietJet for $2.39 billion and 10 A350 planes to Vietnam Airlines.
The 10 planes will be delivered in 2017, JetStar Pacific said in a statement. The airline is 70 percent owned by national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and 30 percent by Australia’s Qantas Airways.
The three deals was signed at the start of a two-day visit to the Southeast Asian nation by French President Francois Hollande.
