Xiaomi 14 Ultra is confirmed to launch globally on February 25, 2024 at MWC 2024 in Barcelona. Per usual, the phone will break cover a few days before in China, on February 22, 2024.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be Xiaomi’s most powerful new phone, a step-up over the Xiaomi 14 Pro which was launched in China last year.
To build hype, Xiaomi has shared renders of the phone revealing full design. Xiaomi 14 Ultra will come in a choice of two colours at least: white and black with vegan leather finish.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra should come with a metal frame but rumour has it that Xiaomi may have a version with Titanium alloy for China.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra full specs and expected price have leaked online ahead of launch. A lot of the hardware specifics corroborate ongoing rumours.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra will reportedly (via WinFuture) arrive with a 6.73-inch 2K or 1440p resolution AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, it is said to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS4.0 storage.
Powering the phone will be a 5,300mAh battery with 90W fast wired and 50W wireless charging.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra is said to come with a 50-megapixel quad rear setup with a combination of wide (1-inch type), ultra wide, 3.2x telephoto, and 5x periscope telephoto. Leica will be onboard, as expected. The front camera is said to be a 32-megapixel.
Rounding off the package will reportedly be IP68 rating, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7 and NFC connectivity.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra 16GB/512GB variant will reportedly retail for Euro 1,499 which roughly translates to Rs 1,34,000.
