Xiaomi 14 has been launched in India at a price of Rs 69,999 (12GB/512GB),
The Xiaomi 14 is one of three high-end camera-focused smartphones that Xiaomi has launched under its new Xiaomi 14 series, the other being the Xiaomi 14 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The ultra has been also launched in India for Rs 99,999 (16GB/512GB).
The Xiaomi 14 has a glass back, though Xiaomi does not specify the type. The back panel has a subtle curve while the frame is completely flat. It is made of metal.
The phone weighs 193g and measures 8.2mm: nice and solid. It is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
It has a 6.36-inch 12-bit LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can peak 3,000 nits and supports Dolby Vision playback. It is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus.
Powering the Xiaomi 14 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14.
The Xiaomi 14 has a trio of 50-megapixel sensors on the back behind Leica Summilux lenses— f/1.6, f/2.0 3.2x telephoto, and f/2.2 ultrawide.
The phone is capable of recording videos up to 8K@24fps including Dolby Vision HDR. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel camera.
Connectivity options include NFC, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.
The Xiaomi 14 has a 4,610mAh battery with 90W fast wired and 50W wireless charging (plus 10W reverse wireless).
The Xiaomi 14 will be available starting March 11.
