Samsung is set to host its highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris today, , where it is expected to unveil the latest foldable devices—the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Prepare to discover the power of Galaxy AI, now infused into the latest Galaxy Z series and the entire Galaxy ecosystem," Samsung says.
Rumours suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 will feature modest upgrades. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to have a new, wider aspect ratio for both the inner and outer displays, with a squarer overall design.
Both Fold 6 and Flip 6 are likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are expected to join the Fold 6 and Flip 6.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is expected to feature a proprietary connection between the case and watch bands, similar to the Apple Watch Ultra. It will have a round display encased in a squircle design.
The standard Galaxy Watch 7 will likely retain Samsung’s classic design.
The Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are rumoured to adopt a stemmed design, akin to Apple’s AirPods.
The Galaxy Ring, a new wearable device first teased in January, could be a showstopper.
A major focus of the event will be on Galaxy AI.
Samsung plans to highlight the integration of AI across its Galaxy ecosystem, promising optimised AI experiences tailored to different devices, from the latest foldables to the broader Galaxy lineup.
The Unpacked event will be streamed live on Samsung.com starting at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, July 10.
