Samsung Galaxy Ring

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Ring in India, nearly three  months after it made its global debut at the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6  unpacked event.

If the Galaxy Ring has piqued your interest, you can pre-reserve one now from Samsung.

1.

The Galaxy Ring is made out of Titanium Grade 5 and features an IP68  dust and water resistance rating. Samsung claims it can withstand depths  of up to 100 metres with its 10ATM water resistance.

2.

Internationally, the Ring is available in three colour options—Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold—but choices could vary in India.

3.

Samsung is offering a sizing kit to help users choose the perfect fit from nine sizes (ranging from size 5 to size 13).

4.

The Galaxy Ring weighs just 2.3 grams (for size 5) and measures 7 mm in width.

5.

The battery life is up to seven days, per Samsung, while a dedicated charging case with LED lighting makes top ups easy and elegant.

6.

At the heart of the Galaxy Ring is Samsung’s Health AI, which is said to deliver personalised health insights and recommendations.

7.

It can monitor essential metrics like Energy levels, Heart rate (with alerts for abnormal readings), Sleep stages and patterns, Stress levels and Activity tracking.

8.

The Galaxy Ring can integrate with other Galaxy devices, including  smartphones like the Fold 6 and Flip 6 and smartwatches like the Watch  Ultra.

9.

Customers can pre-reserve the Galaxy Ring by paying a token amount of Rs  1,999 through Samsung’s official website, select retail stores, Amazon, and Flipkart.

10.

The exact date of availability as well as pricing are still under the wraps (in the US, it is priced at USD 399.99).
