Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K70 series in China. The line-up includes three models: Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro and Redmi K70E.
All the three phones come with a 6.67-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch cutout at the centre.
The Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro have a higher 1440p or 2K resolution while the Redmi K70E tops out at 1.5K. The K70 and K70 Pro panels can also get much brighter at up to 4,000 nits.
The Redmi K70 Pro is the most powerful of the lot courtesy the brand-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
The Redmi K70 has the older Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 while the Redmi K70E makes do with the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra.
The Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro have the same 50-megapixel primary LYT-800 camera sensor. The Redmi K70 Pro pairs it with a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto and 12-megapixel ultrawide while the Redmi K70 gets an 8-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel macro.
The Redmi K70E has a watered down 64-megapixel main camera joined by the same 8-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel macro as the Redmi K70.
All the three phones run Xiaomi’s HyperOS based on Android 14.
You can also get the pro in a limited-edition “Redmi K70 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse” paintjob.
The Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro both pack a 5,000mAh battery inside and support up to 120W fast wired charging. The Redmi K70E has a bigger 5,500mAh battery but tops out at 90W.
