Redmi A3 is the new entry-level smartphone from the house of Xiaomi,
Redmi A3 introduces a brand-new “halo” design with a rounded camera assembly.
You can get it in a choice of three colours — olive green, midnight black, and lake blue. Xiaomi says the last two are made of glass while the first uses fake leather.
Redmi A3 has a side-mounted fingerprint scaner.
Under the hood, the Redmi A3 has the MediaTek Helio G36 processor paired with up to 6GB of RAM.
Storage can go up to 128GB. It is expandable with a dedicated microSD card slot (by up to 1TB).
Powering the phone is a 5,000mAh battery with USB Type-C charging though it is limited to 10W.
Redmi A3 has a 6.71-inch display (presumably IPS LCD) with a 720p resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Xiaomi says.
Running the show is Android 13 Go edition.
For photography, the Redmi A3 has an 8-megapixel rear and another 5-megapixel camera on the front.
Redmi A3 comes in 3GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB trims for Rs 7,299, Rs 8,299, and Rs 9,299, respectively.
