OnePlus has announced an all-new crimson red colour option of its first foldable: the OnePlus Open.
The crimson red OnePlus Open is officially being called the OnePlus Open Apex edition.
OnePlus says the OnePlus Open Apex edition comes with enhanced storage, AI image editing features, and innovative security features.
The OnePlus Open comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Apex edition could get 1TB storage.
OnePlus will reveal the tech details of the Apex edition Open on August 7, 2024.
The OnePlus website confirms the model will go on sale from August 10, 2024.
The pricing could see a bump if the new Open gets more storage. The existing 16GB/512GB model is priced at Rs 1,39,999.
As you can tell from the images, the Apex edition has a faux leather back, like the existing voyager black edition. The OnePlus Open also comes in glass-backed emerald dusk.
Core hardware is expected to remain unchanged.
The OnePlus Open has a 6.31-inch cover and 7.82-inch inner folding display, both with up to 120Hz refresh rate.
The foldable is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a 4,805mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
It has a triple camera setup on the back headlined by a 48mP primary sensor and Hasselblad tuning.
