Nothing has released a video explaining the design inspiration and also showcased the Phone 2a at MWC 2024.
The Phone 2a looks different from the Phone 1 and Phone 2 but it is quite familiar as a Nothing device.
Nothing is sticking to its see-through aesthetics and its glyph lights are also here to stay, though they've been toned down possibly to reduce cost.
The dual cameras lie on top of a distinct circle that houses the NFC coil.
The rest of the elements are positioned using a circular grid system.
The battery cover is inspired from Massimo Vignelli’s New York subway map.
As for hardware, the Phone 2a is confirmed to come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro processor.
The Phone 2a will come with 12GB of RAM.
The Phone 2a will possibly run Android 14 with Nothing OS.
The Nothing Phone 2a will launch in India on March 5.
