MOTO G64 5GQUICK REVIEW

Moto G64 5G, Motorola’s new  lower midrange smartphone, is all about consistency or at least that is  what its spec sheet seems to suggest.

It is a follow-up to the Moto G54. Motorola chose to make minimal changes, only changing the processor (and  software), to deliver a next-gen upgrade that still holds great  potential

Motorola is offering the Moto G64 in three colours: mint green, pearl blue, and ice lilac.

The Moto G64 5G is identical to the Moto G54 right from core design to  size and weight. The body is made of PMMA and is IP52-rated.

It has the same 6.5-inch LCD display with a 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate as the Moto G54.

The screen is protected by Panda glass and has a hole punch cutout at the centre.

The phone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor. Running the show is Motorola’s My UX software based on Android 14.

The phone is guaranteed to get one major OS (Android 15) and three years of security updates.

Powering the phone is a 6,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support, same as the Moto G54.

For photography, the Moto G64 5G has a dual camera setup with a  50-megapixel main sensor with OIS and another 8-megapixel ultra wide  with autofocus so it can double as a macro camera. The front camera is a  16-megapixel.

The Moto G64 5G comes in a choice of 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB at a price of Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively.
