Apple announced iOS 18 at WWDC 2024, marking it as the most ambitious iOS update in the company’s history.
The iOS 18 public beta is now available for download and installation on supported Apple devices.
Since it’s a beta release, it may contain bugs and other issues. Therefore, it’s not recommended to install it on your primary device.
If you decide to proceed, make sure to back up your data thoroughly to safeguard against potential problems.
Eligible iPhones: iPhone 15 series, iPhone 14 series, iPhone 13 series, iPhone 12 series, iPhone 11 series, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone SE (2nd get or later).
1. Register your Apple ID at beta.apple.com.
3. Navigate to General > Software Update.
4. Look for the iOS public beta in the beta updates section and select “Update Now.” The iOS 18 public beta is approximately 6.98 GB.
5. Once downloaded, tap on “Install.” Your iPhone will restart, and iOS 18 will be ready to use.
