How to use the ‘file upload’ feature?

First you need to open the Gemini app in full-screen on your iOS or Android device. Now you need to click on the ‘plus’ icon. You can find the ‘plus’ icon at the bottom-left corner of the screen, next to the microphone and camera options.

Next you will see a sheet sliding up. The sheet will present the three upload options that are available in Android and iOS.  These options include Upload from gallery, Upload a file and Upload from Drive

Now you should choose the files that you want to upload. You can choose them either from your cloud storage or your device.

Now you are all set to upload the files directly into the Gemini AI app.

However, the iOS version of the Gemini app will not support the ‘Upload from Drive’ option.
