Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha: How it will boost local economy and businesses

Around Rs 50,000 crore worth of business this month is expected with the inauguration of Ram temple in Ayodhya, as per traders’ body, as per Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT).

CAIT Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal stated that the historic enthusiasm and excitement surrounding the consecration of the temple has led to increased shopping for products related to the temple and Lord Ram.

Traders across all states made extensive preparations to meet the additional trade demand arising from the temple inauguration.

Specialized items like cloth garlands, lockets, key chains, pictures of Ram Darbar, models of Ram temple, Lord Ram Dhwaja, and Lord Ram Angvastra, imprinted with the picture of Lord Ram, are available in markets across the country.

There is a high demand for models of the Ram Temple, and these models are being produced in different sizes from materials such as hardboard, pinewood, and wood.

Women are getting employment in making these temple models, while local artisans, artists, and hand workers are also benefiting from substantial business in all states.

Products like earthen lamps, rangoli colours, flowers for decoration, and electrical items for lighting have seen increased business.

The service sector has witnessed significant growth in business related to the temple inauguration.

Promotional materials such as hoardings, posters, banners, leaflets, literature, stickers, etc., have been fully prepared across the country for substantial business.

The Ram temple has been inaugurated with the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
