Rising prices are making plot or flat buying impossible for the common man. More spikes in prices have been seen post-pandemic. Let’s see latest trends and numbers

Land prices in Gurugram increased from Rs 30,000-Rs 40,000 per sq yard (pre-Covid) to  Rs 1.25 lakh per sq yard post-Covid.

Increasing land prices is reflecting in apartment prices, which increased by 19-79% in Gurugram and Hyderabad since the Pandemic

In Gurugram’s Golf Course Extension, apartment prices have jumped from Rs 5500-7000 sq ft to Rs 17,000-Rs 23,000 per sq ft.

On Dwarka Expreessway, selling prices have touched Rs 12,000-14,000 per sq ft against Rs 3000-Rs 4,000  per sq ft earlier.

In Hyderabad, even sizes of apartments are going up.

Pre-covid, the maximum inventory in Hyderabad was 2BHK of 1200 sq ft to 3BHK of 1800 sq ft. It has now gone up to 7000-10,000 sq ft.

In Bengaluru, prices of plotted developments have gone up from Rs 2000 per sq ft to Rs 4000 per sq ft. Residential prices have jumped from Rs 5000 per sft to Rs 10,000 per sft.

What should you do?

As prices are going up fast, it may be good for you to book a flat/plot now than wait for prices to decrease in future.
